The successful Altona Loop community campaign has put this important public transport issue in the public and political spotlight, especially important now we’re in the lead up to the 29 November election.
The Altona Loop trains went from bad to worse when a timetable change cut the service in 5 ways. This has lead to Altona Loop commuters being the most dissatisfied on the whole network and abandoning their train service, whilst in other areas patronage soars.
With the state election so close now is the time to build the pressure.
Join Greens MP Colleen Hartland and newly launched candidate for Altona Chris de Bono at Altona Station to hand out information materials to commuters and the community on the Greens plan to fix the Altona Loop.
